Health Insitute

Our Mission

Our mission is to create and promote innovative programs that address the disparities in health and education facing children, youth and families, with a special attention for children with development disabilities.

Our mission is rooted in a dedication to supporting immigrants, with a particular emphasis on children, who are embarking on a journey to the United States from low-income countries. We understand that the grim specter of extreme poverty casts a long shadow over the development of these young minds. In many impoverished nations, it is the children who bear the heaviest burden of deprivation, their potential stunted by the harsh conditions in which they are raised. The decision to leave behind their home countries and start a new life in a foreign land is a brave and hopeful step, but it is not without its own unique set of challenges and uncertainties.

Our work at HHI is multifaceted and driven by the profound belief that every child, irrespective of their background, deserves an equal opportunity to flourish and achieve success in their new environment. We act as a bridge, providing the vital support and resources necessary to facilitate a smooth transition to life in the United States. More than just assisting with the practical aspects of relocation, we are dedicated to addressing the deep-rooted and often devastating effects of a poverty-stricken past. Through mentorship, education, and social services, we empower these young immigrants to overcome the adversities they have faced and build a brighter future.
In essence, we are an organization of hope and support for those in need. Our goal is to ensure that their journey to a better life in a new land is as smooth, enriching, and empowering as possible. We strive to create a nurturing environment where these children can heal from the wounds of poverty, learn, and grow, ultimately contributing positively to the fabric of American society. In doing so, HHI seeks to be a catalyst for change, fostering resilience, hope, and a brighter future for the courageous young souls who have embarked on this challenging and transformative path to a new life in the United States.
