At HHI, our mission is clear: Our goal is to empower Haitian families, particularly new migrants, for a healthier future. With a focus on several core areas, we are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families, both within the Haitian community and beyond.

Our core areas of focus include:

  1. Health Promotion: We are dedicated to promoting overall health and well-being, offering education and resources to help Haitian families and individuals lead healthier lives.
  2. Disease Prevention: Our efforts extend to preventing diseases, with a particular emphasis on infectious, and cardiovascular diseases.
  3. Advocacy for Access to Healthcare Services: We work tirelessly to advocate for new Haitian immigrant families, ensuring they have access to essential healthcare services, addressing their unique challenges.
  4. Parenting Education: HHI offers valuable parenting education programs, providing support to parents as they navigate the challenges and joys of raising children.
  5. Support for Parents of Individuals with Disabilities: We are here to assist and support parents of individuals with disabilities, offering guidance, resources, and a community of understanding.
  6. Youth Development: Our youth development programs are designed to empower the next Haitian generations, equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive.

We believe in a community-centered approach, tailoring our initiatives to meet the specific needs of the Haitian community in Massachusetts. Our goal is to serve as a valuable resource hub, offering educational materials and workshops to empower individuals and families on their journey to better health and well-being.
