Addressing Social Determinants of Health Through Community Research

Social determinants of health (SDOH) are conditions in the places where people live, learn, work, and play that affect a wide range of health and quality-of-life risks and outcomes. This places some communities at a higher risk of poor health. These differences in SDOH represent inequities among groups experiencing disadvantage.
